Mr. Hendrik du Toit
Joint CEO, Investec Group
Mr. Hendrik du Toit holds the position of Joint Chief Executive Officer of Investec Group. He was appointed in October 2018. Previously Mr. du Toit was the CEO and founder of Investec Asset Management for 28 years, after joining the Investec Group in 1991. He served as the president of the Southern Africa Fund, and is a member of the advisory boards of Starfish UK and the European Institute.
Mr. du Toit has a MA in Philosophy, Economics and Politics of Development from the University of Cambridge and a MA from the University of Stellenbosch in Economics.
