Mr. Strive Masiyiwa is the Founder and Executive Chairman of the Econet Wireless. Econet Group is a pan-African telecommunications, media and technology company with operations and investment in over 29 countries. Next to this, Mr. Masiyiwa has served in several international boards, for example the Africa Progress Panel and the UN Secretary General Advisory Board for Sustainable Energy. Furthermore, he is Chair of the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA) and Chair Emeritus of the Micronutrient Initiative, a global organization that focus on improving nutrition.
He was selected in both 2014 and 2017 for Fortune Magazine’s ‘World’s 50 greatest leaders’.
