Ms. Sarah Baynton-Glen
Economist, Standard Chartered Bank
Ms. Sarah Baynton-Glen joined Standard Chartered in 2011. She works on the Africa Research team producing macroeconomic analysis of key markets in Sub-Saharan Africa focusing on East and Southern Africa, and specialising in China-Africa economic engagement. She is based in London. Prior to joining the Bank, Ms. aynton-Glen was based in Beijing where she studied Mandarin and produced research for Beijing-based European Commission projects. She holds a Master’s degree in Chinese Economy from Fudan University, Shanghai, and obtained her BA from the University of Bristol, UK.
