Mr. Samir Abhyankar
Managing Director, Head of Direct Private Equity, British International Investment
Mr. Samir Abhyankar is a Managing Director and Head of Manufacturing, Agribusiness and Forestry at British International Investment, responsible for direct equity and fund investments across Africa and South Asia. Prior to joining BII, he was a Partner at TPG Growth, working across sectors covering the group’s investment activities in Africa. He has also previously worked at Satya Capital, Citi Venture Capital International, the World Bank and Marakon Associates. Mr. Abhyankar holds an MBA from INSEAD and an MA from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.
