Ms. Marit Sommerfelt Valseth
Senior Advisor Agritech, Innovation Norway
Ms. Marit Valseth is Senior Advisor for Bio-based Industries at Innovation Norway. She has a background as a products specialist within molecular biology. Over the last few years, she has been involved in setting up two national innovation networks within neuroscience and industrial biotechnology, respectively. She has been instrumental in establishing a bilateral agreement with Great Britain on Industrial Biotechnology, as well as the Innovation Norway grant program on Biorefining. Ms. Valseth holds a BSc in Molecular Biology from the University of Oslo.
