Dr. Kjetil Tronvoll is a professor in human rights and peace and conflict studies. He is a senior partner of the International Law and Policy Institute (ILPI). He has broad research experience in political anthropology; peace, reconciliation and conflict studies; transitional justice; human rights; democratization and elections; and African studies. Tronvoll has served as an advisor to political reconciliation processes and international peace meditating initiatives in several African countries.
