Mr. Jyrki Koskelo

Mr. Jyrki Koskelo has been a member of the Investment Committee and Board of AATIF ( Africa Agriculture and Trade Investment Fund), a KfW and EU sponsored agri value chain ppp debt impact fund since 2012. He is also a Chairman of Africa Solar Invest, a Botswana based investment vehicle focused on renewable energy in Southern Africa, has acted as a Board Member and senior advisor with multiple Africa focused financial institutions since 2012 and has recently accepted a role of a senior advisor to Sofala Partners, a risk and investment advisory firm focused on Africa. Previously Mr. Koskelo worked for 20 plus years in International Finance Corporation in multiple positions including Vice President of Africa leaving IFC late 2011. In addition to Africa, Mr. Koskelo is also actively engaged as a Board Member and Senior Advisor in Central Europe and the Middle East in issues relevant to the DFI community.
Mr. Koskelo holds a Master of Science degree in International Management/Finance from Sloan School of Management/MIT and a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the Technical University of Helsinki, Finland
