Mr. Joakim Hauge

Mr. Joakim Hauge is Chief Executive Officer of the Sahara Forest Project. Mr. Hauge has a broad experience on issues related to innovation and green technologies from non-governmental and private sectors and has previously been advising national and international institutions. Mr. Hauge was awarded the Global Green Future Leadership Award in 2015, and is recognized by Salt Magazine as one of the world’s top 100 compassionate business leaders. He holds an MSc in biology from the Centre for Ecological and Evolutionary Synthesis at the University of Oslo.
