Norwegian Minister of Foreign Affairs

Her Excellency Ine Marie Eriksen Søreide is a Norwegian politician and since October 2017 was appointed as the new Minister of Foreign Affairs. For the 4 years prior to this appointment, Ms. Søreide was the Minister of Defence. She has held several high-level positions including serving as Chairperson for both the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and Defence, and the Enlarged Foreign Affairs Committee. Ms. Søreide received her MA in law from the University of Tromsø.
