Mr. Herman Chinery-Hesse

Mr. Herman Kojo Chinery-Hesse, described by BBC as Africa’s Bill Gates, is the chairman and co-founder of SOFTtribe Limited (one of the best-known software houses in West Africa). Mr. Chinery-Hessen is a software engineer by profession. He holds several directorships and is an Assessor of the Commercial Court, Ghana. He has won several personal awards including Outstanding Ghanaian Professional from the GPA Awards (UK), as well as the Distinguished Alumnus Award from the Texas State Alumni Association and Texas State University-San Marcos (USA) - the only African recipient of the award.
