Mr. Heine Melkevik
Managing Director, Equinor Nigeria
Mr. Heine Melkevik has a long-standing career in Equinor (Statoil). Since 2017, he’s been the VP and managing director of Equinor Nigeria. In Nigeria Equinor has a stake in the largest deep-water development to date in the country. Previously to his work in Nigeria, he’s been the county manager of Colombia, Nicaragua and Suriname. Other experiences on the African continent include being deputy country manager for Mozambique from 2012-2014.
Mr. Melkevik has a Master of Science in Management and Business, and a Bachelor of Science in International Business from Copenhagen Business School.
