Mr. David Pilling

Mr. David Pilling is the African editor of the Financial Times. Pilling joined the Financial times in 1990 and has perviously been the Asia Editor and Tokyo Bureau Chief for the Financial Times from 2002 to 2008. Throughout his career he has been a foreign correspondent and has worked and reported from all over the world.
He is the winner of several journalistic prizes, including best Commentator prize by the Society of publishers in Asia. Pilling holds a degree in English and Russian from Cambridge University and a diploma in Journalism from City University.
