Norad
Norad is the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation. Norad manages Norwegian development aid based on annual allocations from the Parliament. In addition, Norad develops tools and systems for good grant management, provide information about Norwegian aid and results to the public, and provide specialist advice to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the embassies. Norad is working closely with a range of organizations including civil society, multilateral institutions, governments, and private sector to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. In particular, Norad is working to improve framework conditions for development of the private sector, and can also provide risk reducing instruments for private investments.
